Less is More and my Treat..

Hi folks blooming cold here on the North East coast UK..
I've just returned from the Optician's with some new lenses
they're gonna take some getting used too..always do don't they??
I have an entry for the "Less is More chall wk2"
This wk the girls want us to have a One layer card with the theme of
Flower or Tree, check the chall blog for more info..
Well to be truthful this 1st I made was to quick felt like cheating
but I,ll show you the piccy all the same..

Stamp is from Dawn Bibby set from way back when..
used Markers to colour the leaves & small flowers,
sentiment made up & printed with comp..

As I thought this wasn't good enough I made another, this
time a bit more work..the digi image is from Ruth at
"A Passion for Stamps" I love this Rose & so versatile..
Coloured with Prismas & again used the comp to print a sentiment
think it needs ribbon or something???

And now for my treat.... Look what got delivered today..

Yep treat meself to the 2 sets of MS punches from QVC bargain prices...
One set is called B/fly the other is Swirl..must make some room on the shelf now..LOL

some more challs for me card..

Totally PaperCrafts cha53  Clean & simple
Saturday chall.#121..  A Stamped Flower(or digi)

Thanks for dropping by today..

Hugs to All Christine xx

Hi Christine,
Great to see you taking part in another of our challenges, I like both of these cards but I think if I had to choose I would go for the first one. The image is a little more vibrant and I think I prefer the font too! Super stuff!
See you next week!

Two great cards Christine
You have positioned everything perfectly!
CAS cards aren't cheating, as we have said it can take as much, if not more, time to get them right, cos if they are wrong they are so wrong!! lol

Thanks for playing along again, we appreciate all your efforts

Gorgeous cards, I think I like the first one more as it is an unusual design and so pretty. I agree with you this style of card seems like cheating :) but love them.

Hiya Christine
I love both your cards and I don't think the second one needs any ribbon, it's gorgeous just as it is. And as for your treat, I'm so envious, I wanted the swirl set but have had too many birthdays and celebrations over the last month that I have to wait until pay day (booohooo). Enjoy, can't wait to see what you create with them.
