Clean and Simple Xmas Card..

Morning peeps.. more calamity's in the Craig household..cleaning the bathroom
Tuesday, polishing up the tiles where the shower lead hangs CLATTER
down went the shower head & lead, bits of plastic littered the bottom of
the bath..DH came running after I screamed..frightened the life out of me...
Then DH went to click on the standard lamp POOF, it was a new long life
bulb a few months ago..gets a new bulb POOF again..by this time I was
ready to  use it as a javelin..check the plug HE says..wire was coming out
so MRS Fixit saved the day...Trip to B&Q yesterday to get THE part
for shower Don't DO That Part "the lady says"  a nice man in Grahams
sorted us out shower now in working order..
just as well dont wanna pay £200 quid this side of Crimbo.

Onto me card thought I would try a real easy clean & simple...well if you'd
seen me craft room last nite..anything but simple..stuff all over..
This is what I came up with, not my best piece of heat embossing
out of practise...thats me excuse an am sticking to it..LOL
Square white card matt & layered with mirri board, nxt layer
has been sprayed with C&C silver sparkle piccy not picking up sparkle..
the PEACE stamp has been heat embossed with Silver..& is a Clairty stamp..
Barbara Grey makes it look so easy...again matt & layered..
Silver/white snow flake ribbon is from stash.. the pointsetta flowers
were made from Marianne Creatable dies..
challs for the card...

I love CAS cards, maybe cos I'm clean, and everyone knows I'm simple!
I think it's simply stunning, white and silver are such classy colours and the embossing looks great to me.

You calamities did make me chuckle! It sounds like me x I was cleaning the shower room the other day and wiped over the shower and turned it on FULL! ON MYSELF! And the door went! MMMMMM do I answer it? I thought sod it I had answered the door to the postwoman in my pyjamas and apologised to her for the penguins!!! so I answered it! Worse nightmare, Mother in law, and me with walking stick, jay cloth and drenched!!! What worries me though is her complete acceptance that I would be in such a state without question! he! he!
