Our garden & Koi pond Pics

Well folks isn't it hot??? even on the north east coast with a lovely breeze. here are some piccys of part of our garden & the Koi pond. The 1st of the pond pics was taken a few wks. ago & the others were taken 2day. I love the Arum Lillie's some are in the garden the others are in a tank of water to act as a reservoir for the water fall. The big yellow Koi is called Shirley she is one of the 1st Koi we got 7yrs ago, she hand feeds as do some of the others. This one is called a Doitsu (German for no scales) Chagoi & is the friendly Koi in any pond, just to add Koi don't have teeth (there at the back of the throat)so suck away merrily on the fingers very strange sensation. I will have a card later but trying to get some good piccys.

Thanks for stopping by Hugs Christine xx

What a fantastic pond Christine :) We have Koi too and a couple of ours will 'hand feed' - they'll even suck your fingers if you wiggle them in the water!!! Your water is so clear - we're having a bit of a nightmare at the moment with ours!!!!!
